Are you a skilled driver with a passion for customer service? We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as taxi drivers and help us provide safe and reliable transportation to our valued customers.
Position: Taxi Driver
Location: Whangarei
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service, including assisting passengers with luggage and providing information about local attractions and services.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, both inside and out.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of fares, mileage, and expenses.
Requirements:
- Valid New Zealand Driver’s licence with a Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Previous experience as a taxi driver or similar role preferred, but not required.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local streets and routes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle cash/eftpos transactions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong understanding of the english language
